Offizielle Meldung

2 new names for Pinkpop 2013: Passenger and Kensington

2012 has been a landmark year for the Brighton born troubadour. With his unique blend of the humorous and the heart breaking Mike Rosenberg (aka Passenger) has won the hearts and minds of thousands of people throughout the world, performing live and selling out venues across the UK, Europe, Australia and most recently in the US and Canada with Ed Sheeran. 2013 will start with bang as Mike embarks on his largest ever UK tour, performing songs from his critically acclaimed album „All The Little Lights“ as well as some new tracks and a few old favourites.

Last year has been a very exciting year for Dutch rock band Kensington: The release of their sophomore album ‘Vultures’ in May 2012 on Universal Music (“best Dutch album of the year” according to OOR music magazine), three airplay hits, a club tour that sold out almost every venue they played. It didn’t take long for the story to develop outside of The Netherlands as well, and now their album ‘Vultures’ will be internationally released on Universal Music in countries like Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and even South Korea. ‘Home Again’ will be the first new single of this international release. With shows at the Eurosonic festival and the Pinkpop festival 2013 seems to kick off as exciting as last year ended!
